Mars is the base for the Nursery classes.  They are taught by Mr Chruszcz, Mrs Diamond
and Miss Simpson.  The room is also opened as free flow provision for Reception children during choosing time.  We love to learn together!

We have lots of different provision areas in our classroom.  We particularly love the role play house where we act out activities we know from home and make each other our favourite meals.  We have 2 short carpet sessions a day where we do fun activities like joining in with stories and singing.  We take part in adult led activities at our own level and have lots of fun learning through continuous provision, when we can choose which area to learn in.

We also use the Reception base (Jupiter) for our learning as well as our outdoor classroom which we share with Reception.  We have different provision areas outdoors too where we can practise our skills on a larger scale and look after the plants in our garden!

Below are some documents that we hope you might find useful.

What to expect, when? A Parents’ Guide – This document is aimed at parents as guidance to your child’s learning and development in the early years foundation stage.
