At the Summer Celebration, our parents could see what we do daily e.g. singing assembly or English and maths classes.

We read a book by Giles Andreae about a chimpanzee who changed a boring town, ‘Drabsville’, to ‘Happy Town’! We got in partners and one of us posed as a statue while one us said, ” Chutney, the chimpanzee who….” and we had to complete the sentence – it was fun.

With Mr Comer, we played a game called, ‘join me if…’ where you had to join him if you had or did the thing he said.

We also did some food tasting and we tried some spicy chickpeas and curry with rice, papadums and onion bhajis.

It was all to do with values because we are aiming to become a ‘Rights Respecting School’.
